Industry Calls for Stronger Global Energy System Resilience at 9th CIIE

At the Sinopec-themed forum of the 9th China International Import Expo in Shanghai on November 4, executives from Petronas, S&P Global, ExxonMobil and Sinopec called for stronger global energy system resilience amid geopolitical tensions and extreme weather. They urged diversified energy supply, reliable and affordable energy, and closer cooperation across oil and gas, LNG, pipelines and storage, while noting AI's rising power demand and its value for industrial intelligence.
