US intelligence identifies Nvidia executive Alice Huang as China informant

US intelligence agencies believe Alice Huang, an executive at Singapore-based data center operator Megaspeed and a member of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's inner circle, is a Chinese informant. According to The New York Times, she passes information to Beijing and is close to Huang. Between June 2024 and February 2026, a Malaysian sister company of Megaspeed purchased at least $4.8 billion of Nvidia AI hardware. An Nvidia spokesperson stated that meeting customers is part of a CEO's job and Megaspeed does not receive sensitive information.
