LangChain's Deep Agents SDK introduces context management for complex AI tasks

LangChain released the open-source Deep Agents SDK, an agent harness enabling planning, subagent spawning, and filesystem interaction for complex, long-running tasks. To manage LLMs' finite memory and prevent context rot, the SDK implements three context compression techniques: offloading tool results exceeding 20,000 tokens to the filesystem, truncating older tool inputs when context crosses 85% of the model's window, and performing summarization when offloading is insufficient.
