Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted Houthi ballistic missile fired at Medina region

The Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen's Houthis said air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched toward the Medina region, home to one of Islam's holiest cities. The announcement followed a civil defence warning of potential danger near the strategic Red Sea port of Yanbu, though it was unclear if the two events were connected. Yanbu is the terminus of the East-West Pipeline that lets Saudi oil bypass the Strait of Hormuz.
