U.S. Producer Price Index for Final Demand Rises 0.7% in February 2026

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Producer Price Index for final demand increased 0.7 percent in February 2026, seasonally adjusted. The rise was driven by a 0.5 percent advance in final demand services and a 1.1 percent increase in final demand goods. On an unadjusted basis, the index rose 3.4 percent for the 12 months ended in February, while the index less foods, energy, and trade services rose 3.5 percent over the same period.
