Canva launches Canva Craft, an AI image model that plans designs before generation

Canva has launched Canva Craft, an image generation model utilizing a two-stage architecture to plan designs before image generation, aiming for greater precision and control. The model supports up to 2K resolution and over 30 aspect ratios, capable of creating social media posts, marketing content, and realistic scenes. Trained on millions of human-made templates from Canva's content library, Canva noted that Craft includes robust moderation, privacy, and safety controls, and is currently ranked fourth on Design Arena’s leaderboard.
