Zcash leads crypto rebound, surging 8.5% as Bitcoin reclaims $83,000

Zcash surged 8.5% in 24 hours to $1,215.85, becoming the top gainer among major cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin reclaimed the $83,000 level, rising 1.57% to $83,195, while Ethereum climbed 2.90% to $2,463.35. The broader crypto market capitalization increased 1.68% to $2.78 trillion, with the CMC20 index up 1.45%. The rebound was driven by a recovery in tech stocks, net inflows of $526.7 million into crypto exchange-traded funds, and a bounce from oversold conditions after Zcash dropped about 25% over the past month. Privacy coins have been strong lately, and traders bought ahead of the upcoming NU7 network upgrade decision.
