Basel Committee assesses leverage ratio framework compliance in several jurisdictions

The Basel Committee published assessment reports on the implementation of its leverage ratio framework (LEV) in Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Australia, Japan, Korea, and Switzerland were assessed as compliant, while Canada and the United Kingdom were assessed as largely compliant. This publication concludes the first round of multi-jurisdictional assessments under the Regulatory Consistency Assessment Programme (RCAP).
