RBI to conduct second overnight VRRR auction of 25,000 crore rupees on November 4

The Reserve Bank of India will conduct a second overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, following a review of current and evolving liquidity conditions. The notified amount is 25,000 crore rupees with a one-day tenor, and the auction window will run from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM. The reversal date is November 5, 2026. Operational guidelines will follow the Reserve Bank’s Press Release 2019-2020/1947 issued on February 13, 2020.
