Cardano holders are asked to bet $5 million on copper reaching a new record via Toto Finance

Toto Finance is seeking 22 million ADA, approximately $5 million, from Cardano’s treasury to purchase and tokenize copper under the Cardano Strategic Copper Reserve proposal, with voting closing on Nov. 15. The proposal would use over half of Cardano’s remaining withdrawal allowance; if the full budget is spent and ADA’s dollar price is unchanged, copper would need to rise about 49.4% to recover the investment, assuming a purchase price of $6.73 per pound and a sale price of about $10.06 per pound. Toto could receive up to 3.36 million ADA while retaining commercial rights to its separately funded tokenized-copper business.
