Anthropic launches Claude Duet, an AI agent for professionals and small businesses

Anthropic has launched Claude Duet, a new AI agent built around Claude Opus 5.5, as a research preview for professionals and small business owners. Available as a standalone app on iOS and Android and via Claude on the web, Duet can provide daily briefs across connected apps, monitor for urgent items, and handle tasks ranging from scheduling to building financial forecasts and web apps. Users must be a Pro or Max subscriber in the US to access the waitlist, and the agent includes a dedicated classifier and safety system prompt to reject sharing sensitive information like credit card numbers.
