Egyptian and Nigerian English Join the Open ASR Leaderboard

Hugging Face has announced a collaboration with Liva AI to add private Egyptian and Nigerian English conversational datasets to the Open ASR Leaderboard. This update aims to improve representation in ASR evaluations and enhance trust by introducing new private data to minimize benchmaxxing, helping the community push ASR performance for a more diverse global audience.
