Anthropic grants METR employee-like access to internal systems

Anthropic has granted the AI safety evaluator METR employee-like access to its internal tools and systems, providing hardware, office space, and access comparable to its own risk assessment teams. The arrangement is unpaid, and METR, funded by independent donors and government bodies, will publish its analysis, though Anthropic can require redaction of customer data or privileged information.
