China's Ministry of Commerce announced on November 5 that China and Switzerland signed an upgraded free trade agreement protocol in Beijing on October 30. After implementation, the two sides will achieve higher-level market access in goods, services, and investment, with zero-tariff products covering over 99% of bilateral trade. Swiss coffee, machine tools, and watches will gain broader access to China, while Chinese oilseeds, vegetable oil, and pet food will enjoy preferential tariffs in Switzerland.
