Nearly $1 billion in crypto bets liquidated amid Bitcoin, Ether, and XRP price slides

Nearly $483 million in bitcoin and ether futures positions were liquidated over 24 hours as cryptocurrency prices fell on Thursday, driven by uncertainty regarding the Federal Reserve’s next interest-rate decision. Ether traders faced the largest losses, with about $286 million in liquidations as Ether fell over 6% to roughly $2,350; Bitcoin declined about 3% to around $81,000. Losses also affected Solana (around 5% drop), dogecoin (roughly 6% drop), and Zcash (dropping about 13%).
