McKinsey tests AI client simulation for entry-level business analyst interviews

McKinsey & Company is testing an AI simulation of a client for a 10-minute conversation as part of the interview process for undergraduate business-analyst jobs in some North American offices this fall. The AI aims to reflect 80% of scenarios consultants encounter daily but is not designed to mimic an unhinged client; human interviewers will assess candidates, not the AI. Hundreds may use this tool.
