Mia Goth's representatives criticize Instagram for allowing spread of AI-generated image

Mia Goth's representatives stated it is 'incomprehensible' that Instagram allowed an AI-generated image of Goth, posted by the verified fan account @miagoth_ (which had over a million followers), to spread widely, despite Goth not engaging on social media. Meta spokesperson Alex Dziedzan confirmed the account was removed for impersonating a public figure; however, Meta's rules currently do not require an AI label for still images, even if they feature real people.
