Chinese national arrested in Bangkok over $75M international crime network

Thai police arrested a 37-year-old Chinese national in Bangkok on charges of involvement in an international crime network and money laundering. Authorities allege the suspect used over 133 accounts to facilitate cryptocurrency and foreign-currency exchanges for criminal groups, and arranged visas for group members. He attempted to evade capture using forged documents and changed license plates before being found at a luxury house. His Thai visa had expired over three years ago.
