Google launches Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash with 15-second video generation and 30 percent price cut

Google DeepMind product manager Anish Nangia announced that Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash is now generally available through the Gemini API and Gemini for business. The model natively generates and edits videos up to 15 seconds long, up from 10 seconds, priced at $0.07 per second for 720p video, a 30 percent reduction from version 1.1. It adds multi-turn conversational editing, stronger reference adherence, and improved character and scene consistency across Google Vids, Flow, Gemini app, and Google Ads. Fast sports action and complex physics remain under improvement.
