Qubic wallets drained after weak seed vulnerability exploited, network halted

An attacker drained 1,404 Qubic wallets and validators in under two hours, exploiting weak randomness in wallet seed generation. Qubic halted the network at tick 85,371,949 to freeze remaining funds, with 87.1% of the 2.94 trillion QU tokens (worth $1.29 million) staying on network. Separately, the Cysic cross-chain bridge was exploited the same day, adding to October's exploit tally.
