Kazakhstan regulator orders Apple and Google to restrict six crypto platforms in AIFC

Kazakhstan's Astana Financial Services Authority plans to send court orders to Apple and Google to restrict access to six crypto platforms, including Coinbase, within the Astana International Financial Centre. The regulator issued the orders on September 18 targeting BingX, Bitcoin.com, Huobi Global (HTX), BitMart, Coinbase, and WEEX, targeting unauthorized digital-asset services. While Apple and Google become bound by the orders upon service, restrictions on the app stores for the six platforms remain unconfirmed. AFSA previously issued a default judgment on September 15, and the variation removed LBank after its operator claimed remedial measures. Nine other platforms voluntarily restricted access, prompting AFSA to withdraw claims against them.
