US envoy Witkoff arrives in Norway for talks with Zelensky as Rubio denies withholding intelligence

US special envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Norway to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, aimed at steering relations toward a constructive path. The meeting follows a recent souring of Kyiv-Washington ties, with Trump suggesting Ukraine needs a new president. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio denied accusations that the US was withholding intelligence from Kyiv, calling the claims "scandalous" and "outrageous," after Zelensky's military technical adviser warned that inconsistent US warnings were costing lives. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said Zelensky requested Norway and Finland to organize the meeting with US and European allies at a critical time for Ukraine.
