Jev becomes Vercel's fastest-adopted AI model ever

Vercel data shows Jev, a lightweight decision model from TypeSafe AI, was adopted by 35% of paid teams within two weeks of its September 2026 launch, nearly double the reach of Sonnet 5.5. The model's limited-output design enables cheaper, faster processing, and Vercel has used it to replace GPT-6 Luna for classifying harmful commands. Open-source models now account for over 70% of tokens processed through Vercel's gateway.
