Paolo Ardoino announces Tether Mining Development Kit v0.11, introduces human approval requirement for AI actions in Bitcoin mining

Tether has released the Mining Development Kit v0.11, an open-source framework designed to connect mining equipment, pools, and applications through a common interface. A key feature of the v0.11 reference agent is that its device-action tool requires human approval before execution, pausing pending authorization. Permission to act is determined by site-specific identity checks, meaning the site must establish who is entitled to approve commands. The announcement includes commitments from 15 industry participants, including Bitmain, MicroBT, Foundry Digital, and Luxor Technology, to build compatible Workers that translate existing hardware interfaces into MDK's common language.
