Judge orders OpenAI to provide hiring records in Apple trade secrets lawsuit

A judge ruled that Apple can gain expedited access to OpenAI’s hiring materials related to interviews with former Apple employees who applied for roles in OpenAI’s consumer hardware and robotics groups. This includes documents like interview checklists, guides, and technical presentations that may reference Apple technology. OpenAI has five days to turn over collected materials and 14 days for others. Apple accused OpenAI of a pattern of theft, including former employees using Apple laptops to download confidential information about unannounced technologies, features, and products.
