Moody's assigns A2 long-term rating to Ripple's $2.6B RLUSD stablecoin after OCC approval

Moody's has assigned A2 long-term and P-1 short-term deposit ratings to Ripple USD (RLUSD), a stablecoin issued by Ripple's Standard Custody & Trust Company. The ratings reflect reserves held mostly in short-term U.S. government assets and cash, targeting 103% coverage of tokens in circulation. The rating follows final OCC approval for Ripple's national trust bank.
