Circle Shareholder Sues Trump, World Liberty and Steve Witkoff Over $2 Billion Binance Deal

Circle shareholder J. Benjamin Greenberg filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the District of Columbia against US President Donald Trump, World Liberty Financial, and Steve Witkoff, alleging that they harmed Circle by facilitating a $2 billion investment by an Abu Dhabi entity, MGX (tied to the UAE royalty), into Binance using the USD1 stablecoin in 2025.
