Luxor Technology raises $16 million to scale AI computing push

Luxor Technology raised $16 million in a strategic round led by CMT Digital to expand its AI computing business. The funding will scale its cloud platform, AI hardware business, and a compute-derivatives desk. The round included participation from mining hardware makers Canaan and MicroBT, and values Luxor's existing infrastructure — including 75 megawatts of energy load and 1.8 million cloud workloads processed this year — as a foundation for AI growth.
