AT&T's Connected Life security system now integrates with Gemini for Home
AT&T's Connected Life smart home security system now integrates with Gemini for Home, and AT&T says it is the first home security product to integrate with Google Home Premium. The update adds Gemini-powered features that summarize home events, provide detailed descriptions of security camera events, let users search recorded video using natural language questions, and review daily summaries of activity inside and outside the home. These features are available only with AT&T's professional Connected Life monitoring plan at $29.99 per month. AT&T is also adding automatic arming and disarming based on proximity to home. AT&T launched Connected Life last December in partnership with Google and Abode, and the system now uses Google's Gemini-powered Home APIs. ADT has hinted at bringing Gemini for Home features to its security systems.
