AWS PrivateLink enables secure, private data access for Amazon Quick from corporate networks

Amazon Quick can privately access on-premises data sources like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle without traversing the public internet by configuring VPC endpoints powered by AWS PrivateLink. This architecture assumes existing AWS Direct Connect or AWS Site-to-Site VPN connectivity to a VPC, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, FedRAMP, and PCI-DSS, while also reducing the attack surface and providing consistent low-latency connectivity.
