UK equality body proposes right for employees to find out colleagues' pay

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has proposed that employees should have a legal right to find out what their colleagues earn, requiring employers to respond to pay questionnaires to cut discrimination. The watchdog also recommended banning employers from asking about salary history during job offers to prevent historic discrimination from continuing.
