Google launches Universal Cart tool for US users to track products across search and Gemini app

Google announced that Universal Cart, a tool allowing users to collect and monitor products found across Search and the Gemini app, is now available to U.S. users. This central hub collects items from multiple retailers and can notify shoppers of price drops or stock availability. The tool integrates with Google’s Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) and offers tailored help, such as considering credit card perks and surfacing promo codes. Google said this is part of its deeper investment in AI-powered shopping, joining features like conversational product discovery in Search’s AI Mode.
