Ledger launches Atom, a touchscreen Android device with Secure Element and Ledger OS

Ledger announced Atom, a touchscreen Android device featuring a Secure Element running Ledger OS. Solana Mobile named Ledger as its first hardware expansion partner, and the Atom preinstalls Solana's Seeker app, which includes the Solana dApp Store with over 1,500 decentralized apps. The Atom is billed as a "signer," not a hardware wallet, and operates in a Ledger OS-powered "Secure Mode" for sensitive operations like transaction signing. The device has a 6.77-inch OLED display, a Qualcomm Dragonwing chip, and incorporates a hardware privacy switch.
