Starlink Connectivity Boosts Revenue for United Airlines and SpaceX

United Airlines reported that Starlink is installed on over 640 aircraft, offering the service free to about half of its MileagePlus members, with over 5.4 million passengers experiencing it in September. United CEO Scott Kirby said Starlink is winning new, brand-loyal customers, expecting it to boost revenue per available seat mile in 2027. Meanwhile, SpaceX's connectivity division, including Starlink, generated $5.25 billion in Q3 revenue, a 69% annual increase, contributing to SpaceX's $14.6 billion total revenue and $4.4 billion net income.
