Kraken will retire 176 native crypto trading pairs starting Nov 6, forcing customers to migrate to synthetic markets. The exchange will cancel all outstanding orders and eliminate maker-fee eligibility, meaning limit orders will now incur taker fees. Affected pairs including BTC/DAI and ETH/JPY will be removed between Nov 6 and Nov 9, with replacement markets available by the end of the migration window.
