Japan's ORIX Aviation Agrees to Acquire UK Aviation Firm AerFin for About £475 Million

Japanese financial services giant ORIX Group's aircraft leasing arm ORIX Aviation has agreed to acquire Newport-based AerFin in a deal worth about £475 million. AerFin employs more than 230 people and serves over 600 organizations with aircraft trading, leasing, repair and component services. The sale marks the exit of Danish private equity investor CataCap, AerFin's former majority shareholder.
