Bitcoin linked to Irish drug dealer Clifton Collins moves $41 million to Coinbase

A Bitcoin wallet associated with convicted Irish drug dealer Clifton Collins moved approximately $41.5 million, or 500 BTC, to a Coinbase Prime deposit on Oct. 20, according to Arkham Intelligence. This marks the fifth 500 BTC movement this year, totaling 2,500 BTC, valued at around $208 million at Bitcoin's price of $83,157. Roughly 3,500 BTC, valued at $291 million, remains in wallets associated with Collins, who accumulated about 6,000 BTC between 2011 and 2012 from drug dealing. Irish authorities, including the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) and Europol, have previously recovered 1,500 BTC, with Arkham Intelligence suggesting law enforcement is the most likely party behind the recent transfers.
