Ethereum has scheduled the Hoodi testnet activation for October 26, 2026, at 17:42:48 UTC, setting a 200 million gas target to guide a gradual block-limit adjustment. All Hoodi operators must update execution and consensus clients, while validators are required to upgrade their beacon node and validator client. The mainnet activation timing remains undecided, and ETH holders are not required to take any action as a result of this testnet update.
