Arthur Hayes Sells $26 Million in Crypto Positions Amid Macro Uncertainty

Arthur Hayes announced on Oct. 24 that he exited Maelstrom's directional crypto positions, taking profits on Ethereum (ETH), Ethena (ENA), Uniswap (UNI), and others due to mounting macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty. On-chain analyst EmberCN reported total sales of about $26 million, with ETH accounting for nearly three-quarters, including 8,000 ETH valued at approximately $19 million. This move follows Santiment's Oct. 23 report of Ethereum's largest daily net exchange outflow in over four months.
