Uber rolls out ChatGPT Work to all 30,000 global employees in partnership with OpenAI

Uber has expanded its partnership with OpenAI, making ChatGPT Work available to its entire global workforce of about 30,000 employees. Following an initial pilot with 1,000 staff earlier this year, the tool, introduced in July as an enterprise AI agent, is now company-wide. Early adopters, 80% of whom were non-engineers, used it for tasks like analyzing complex operational data, localizing training materials, and building personalized dashboards. Uber will track usage to guide future AI deployment but did not disclose spending.
