Ex-DOGE staffers breach Anthropic in 12 hours using AI agents

Four former employees of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency breached Anthropic's internal systems using AI agents within 12 hours, accessing sales, HR and Slack data. The startup Cathedral, founded by the hackers, exploited outside tools to reach meeting transcripts and salary information. Anthropic confirmed a limited breach but said model weights and customer chats were untouched. The incident highlights vulnerabilities in enterprise software.
