Circle Shareholder Sues Donald Trump Over Alleged Unconstitutional $2B UAE Crypto Deals

A shareholder and former Circle employee, J. Benjamin Greenberg, sued Donald Trump, alleging that a member of the UAE ruling family paid $500 million and an Abu Dhabi government investment fund paid $2 billion through Trump-backed World Liberty Financial's USD1 stablecoin product, in violation of the Constitution. The lawsuit further alleges Trump provided Emirati leadership access to advanced AI chips and a pardon in exchange for the crypto investments. Trump, World Liberty, and U.S. Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are named as defendants.
