BNB Chain's Jenner testnet release advances a native-asset design that splits token creation and administration into four distinct roles. Under the proposed BEP-702 standard, governance appoints an administrator via GovHub who controls feature switches for creating stablecoins and asset variants, while issuers retain control over their specific tokens. The design separates whether a feature is admitted, who exercises token powers, and which holders are affected, with existing BEP-20 tokens remaining unaffected.
