Kalshi and Polymarket trade over $50 billion ahead of November midterms, Chuck Todd to host NEXTPredict summit

Prediction markets Kalshi and Polymarket combined for over $50 billion in monthly trading volume in July, more than double May's figure, driven largely by sports betting. Politics remains a small fraction, averaging under $300 million monthly on Kalshi and about $2 billion on Polymarket. Former NBC News political director Chuck Todd will host the NEXTPredict summit in October to explore the relationship between pollsters and prediction markets ahead of the November midterms.
