SpaceX perpetual futures trade about $6 billion following October 20 earnings release

Market-data provider Talos reported that SpaceX perpetual futures turnover across Binance and Hyperliquid reached about $6 billion after the company's October 20 earnings release, which was more than eight times the prior day's volume. Concurrently, Talos also reported that Binance open interest fell by about 8% after the earnings announcement. The $6 billion turnover figure covers two venues, while the open interest figure is specific to Binance, meaning the surge in trading volume and the decline in open interest measure different market activities.
