House Oversight Chair Comer probes Delaware plan for AI-run companies

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has launched an investigation into Delaware's proposal to create a new corporate entity, the Artificial Intelligence Company (AIC), which would be run by AI agents. Comer warns the plan could shield AI firms and investors from liability for harms caused by the AI, and has requested documents and internal AI chat logs from Delaware Governor Matt Meyer by November 9.
