Digital Assets Week Launches in Dubai with VARA as Host Partner

On 4 February 2027, the Dubai Exhibition Centre will host the inaugural Dubai edition of Digital Assets Week, an institutional conference series that examines the transformation of capital markets through tokenisation. The event is organised in partnership with the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), which will serve as the host partner. The one‑day programme will bring together financial institutions, institutional investors, regulators, exchanges, infrastructure providers and other key market participants to discuss practical developments shaping the transition to tokenised capital markets. Key topics include regulation as a competitive advantage, on‑chain Dirhams and stablecoins, 24/7 markets and atomic settlement, tokenised real‑estate deeds, custody and banking rails, tokenised Sukuk, compliant DeFi, capital flows in tokenisation and stablecoin infrastructure, and tokenised yield for Gulf capital. The conference follows previous editions in London, New York and Hong Kong and reflects the growing role of the Middle East in developing regulated digital asset markets.
