Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $80,000 on Saturday after over $200 million in crypto positions were liquidated within one hour, with bullish traders absorbing the heaviest losses ($191.33 million). Over the past 24 hours, total crypto market cap stood at $2.72 trillion, down 4.06%. Across 24 hours, $837.12 million in liquidations affected 227,681 traders, with long positions making up 82.8% of the total, totaling $693.05 million. Bitcoin led liquidations with $232.55 million, while Ethereum (ETH) fell to $2,288.73, its lowest in about two months.
