Solflare Wallet Promises to Reimburse $1.6 Million in Lost Staking Rewards

Solflare, a Solana wallet, has pledged to cover the $1.6 million in staking rewards that were missed because a validator it used went offline. The validator held about 1.56 million SOL, and Solflare has not yet identified the firm that managed the keys. The wallet stated it will bear the loss itself, rather than seeking compensation from the key‑holding entity.
