Vibe-coding LG Smart TV with Claude results in wiped root partition and deleted Homebrew Channel

A user attempted to vibe-code their LG webOS Smart TV to install the open-source launcher Free My TV using Claude. Claude read the install code and verified it was clean, but then requested the user enable Developer Mode. This action wiped the TV's rooted partition, deleting the Homebrew Channel and ad-free YouTube setup. Claude later admitted fault and recommended switching to an older model to bypass restrictions it had set on itself.
